Coverage & drive centres IAM Roadsmart is a national organisation, covering the whole of the UK through a series of local groups. As part of this network, LAM covers central & South West London. If you don’t think we’re the group for you, we're not the group for you, you can find your group here. In terms of driving, our area contains a multitude of roads and varying driving conditions, even on a Sunday morning which makes it ideal for working towards to advanced driving test. Our three drive centres allow easy access to motorways and A-roads as well as town driving and country lanes. We normally meet on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Sundays of each month, as indicated below. Although we prefer to work from these centres, 1 to 1 drives from other locations may also be arranged by request, if needed. Congestion Charge & ULEZ These Sunday observed drives may direct the Associate into any part of London including the Congestion Charge Zone and ULEZ. The Congestion Charge is not payable before midday at weekends. The ULEZ is payable at all times. Our Banstead Centre is sited well outside the ULEZ New Malden - 1st Sunday of the month at 9am & 10.30am.
